Water level

PROBLEM: The pool is too full and overflowing over the coping.
The overflow has not been connected
The overflow is clogged.
Caution: Usually when a pool overflows the pump is flooded. Disconnect the power supply and call a qualified
electrician to check Soliflow and carry out the necessary repairs.
18.3

Pump

PROBLEM: The pump does not start.
The fuse protecting the motor is faulty
There is no power supply to the motor
The motor capacitor is faulty
The pump impeller is blocked by debris or some other
object.
PROBLEM: The pump runs intermittently. This is caused by overheating of the motor.
The water level in the pool is too low
The pump impeller is blocked by debris
The pump impeller is broken

Connect the overflow to a gravity drain.
Remove the obstruction.
Replace the fuse with a fuse that has the same rating
If the fuse blows again, call a professional to establish
why.
Check the power supply from the eletrical panel to the
motor.
This must be done by a qualified professional.
Disconnect the power supply.
Replace the capacitor.
Reconnect the power supply.
Do not forget to reset the timer.
Disconnect the power supply.
Dismantle the pump and clean the impeller.
Reassemble the pump and reconnect the power
supply.
Do not forget to reset the timer.
Bring the water level up. See the sections dealing with
water level issues.
Disconnect the power supply.
Dismantle the pump and clean the impeller.
