Settings, measurements, cleaning work etc. may only be
carried out when the engine has been switched off and
the spark plug lead disconnected.

If safety or protective equipment must be maintained or
repaired, it must be reinstalled correctly without delay on
completion of the work.

It is essential that you are familiar with the accident
prevention regulations and all other, general safety
regulations in force at the place of use.

Always check the safety equipment before you use the
auger. Ensure that any parts, which appear to be only
slightly damaged, actually function correctly.
•
Check whether all the moving parts function perfectly.
Pay particular attention to damage and jamming parts.
All parts must be correctly installed and satisfy all
conditions for perfect function.
•
Unless otherwise stated in this operating manual,
damaged parts and safety equipment must be repaired
or replaced by an authorised service centre.
•
Have damaged switches replaced by an authorised
service centre.
The auger bit will not start to turn until you press
the throttle, the bit will not turn when the engine is
idling.
