3. Control System

3.1

Main menu

Language
At the first start language has to be selected. Factory setting is ENGLISH. Available languages
English
are: Danish, Swedish, German, English, Spanish, Portug., Dutch, French, Polish. Language can
be reset/changed later by entering the installers menu (service menu).
Water
Water temperature.
45 °C
Presents current water temperature.
Evapor
Evaporator temperature.
5 °C
Shows the current evaporator temperature
Alarm
Alarm display. Up to 3 alarms are shown. "0" = no alarm. For details regarding different alarms

see chapter "Alarm handling". Alarms can be reset by pressing the control button.
Status
The current operating condition of the heat pump.
Off
"off" = switched off
"Standby" = Standby
"H.Water " = Operating
"Legionel" = 65 °C heating is ongoing
"Def.Gas"/"Def.Air"/"Def.Stop" = Defrosting
Setpoint
Desired water temperature.
45 °C
The temperature can be changed by pressing the control button (the temperature starts flashing).
Desired water temperature can then be adjusted by turning the button. Another press on the
button will confirm the new setpoint.
A normal operating temperature is between 45 °C and 55 °C.
T min
Minimum temperature.
35 °C
Lowest allowed temperature (normally about 35°C). If the water temperature is lower than "T min"
supplementary heating will be activated until Tmin is reached. The temperature can be changed
by pressing the control button (the temperature starts flashing). Desired settings can then be
adjusted by turning the button. Another press on the button will confirm the new setpoint.
T 2 min
Similar function to Tmin, used as "holiday function" or when the DHW HP is in "standby" mode.
10 °C
T2 min protects the DHW HP and your installation against freezing. The default setting is "10°C".
Heat
Energy sources. The following options are available:
pump
"OUT" = standby
HP+EL "HP" = Only heat pump is allowed
"EL" = Only immersion heater is allowed
"HP+EL" = Heat pump and immersion heater in combination
"BOILER" = Only boiler is available
"HP+BOIL" = Heat pump and boiler is allowed
If no boiler is installed, the last 2 combinations can not be used.
Legionel
Legionella setting. If switched ("ON") the heat pump will once weekly increase the temperature to

65 °C, in order to prevent legionella.
FanCon
Displays the fan operating mode. When set to "Off", the fan will stop together with the heat
Off
pump. The "Low" setting is for low speed and the "High" setting is for high speed. This also
means that there is constant ventilation.
FanOper
Fan speed, when the heat pump is operating. "Low" = low speed "High" = high speed
High
Solarcell
This function allows you to operate the DHW HP using cheap and environmentally -friendly
Off
energy from your own solar cell panels.
"Off" = Solar cells are not connected to the system or have not been chosen to be used by the
user.
"HP only" , "EL only" and "HP + EL": These values indicate the chosen operation mode, when
the solar cell function is activated by the external inverter signal. See the wiring diagram for the
connection to the controller.
SC-HP
Set point temperature of "HP only" operating mode, when the solar cell function is activated

(inverter signal).
SC-EL
Set point temperature of "EL only" and "HP + EL" operating mode, when the solar cell function is
53 °C
activated (inverter signal).
Holiday
This parameter activates/deactivates the holiday mode. The holiday mode can be selected with
Off
the rotary/push button. The possible selections are:
"Off", "1 week", " 2 weeks", "3 weeks", "3 days", "Manual"
When the holiday mode is activated, "T2 min" is the safety level for frost protection.
