Spark plug
Clean the sparkplug with a wire brush and adjust it, or replace it, after a maximum of
600 operational hours; the opening must be 3.5 mm.
Photo-electric cell
Clean the photoelectric cell as
often as required but at least once
a year.
Clean the lens with a cotton swab,
possibly dampened with a little
water or alcohol. See the diagram
for the correct photo cell position.
Fuel filter
Clean or replace at least twice a season
and more frequently if necessary. You
may clean the fuel filter with clean fuel
but you are advised to replace the old
filter with a new one. Open the clips with
tongs and remove the old filter. Slide the
hoses over the new filter and close the
clips. The use of diesel or dirty fuel can
lead to the filter having to be cleaned
more frequently or immediately. One
extra filter is supplied with the standard
package.
Adjusting pressure on compressor pump
In order to alter the pressure on the
compressor pump (on a working
heater), use a screwdriver to adjust
the pressure regulator (see
diagram). Clockwise = higher
pressure; anti-clockwise = lower
pressure. The correct pump pressure
is:
Fireball 20T: 3.5Psi (0.25bar)
Fireball 37T: 6.0Psi (0.43bar)
(Tolerance: ± 10%).
To achieve the best result, measure with a full tank. The pressure is best if the cone
(flame deflector) is cherry red and no flames are directed outwards.
