Emergency Manual Release
with quickLOK
Removing the wheel
In case of sudden machine stop, such as in case of
blackout, the operator must be able to remove the
wheel he was working on when the procedure was
stopped.
Tools required:
(A) 12 mm diameter lever
(B) Fixed-size wrench (CH.24)
Follow the procedure:
•
Set the machine in safe conditions (turn off and
disconnect the machine from the power and
pneumatic supply lines).
•
Turn the handle to insert lever (A) in the hole (1)
underneath.

Loosen nut (2) with the wrench (B), then rotate
counter clockwise by about one turn using lever
(A), so as to release the locking strength on the
tool shaft.
•
Lower cam (3) with a clockwise rotation to
completely release the wheel Locking tool.
•
Lift Locking tool and remove wheel.
Alternative removal
Should it not be possible to release the tool by rotating
cam (3), completely loosen pin with lever (A) and
remove cone (5) to slide out the wheel by leaving the
tool in position.
Restore the ring nut underneath and the pin with nut
of the locking Tool.
Before proceeding check that the system has been
correctly reset.
