MAINTENANCE AND DIAGNOSIS OF FAILURES

1

MAINTENANCE

Before carrying out any maintenance operation, disconnect the device from the power supply.
1 Frequently check the installation in order to discover
any imbalance or sign of deterioration or wear. Do
not use the operator if any repair or adjustment is
necessary.
2 Clean and lubricate the articulations and tracks of
the door, so as not to increase the effort of the
operator.
2

FAILURE DIAGNOSIS

Check the control board components in "Fig. 3 Control board connections and components" on page 45.

SCRAP

The operator, up until the end of its useful life,
must be dismounted at its location by an
installer who is as well qualified as the person
who completed the assembly, observing the
same precautions and safety measures. In this
manner we will avoid possible accidents and
damage to adjacent facilities.

Installation Guide
3 Check that the key commands, safety strips and
4 Check unlocking can be carried out easily.
Cause
Absence of system power supply voltage
Electrical installation defective
The arm for manual operation is in unlock
position
F1 or F2 cut out
"STOP" pushbutton open
Safety device (photocell or strip) or its
cabling are open or defective
Opening limit switch defective or incorrectly
adjusted
Closing limit switch defective or incorrectly
adjusted
The resistance of the door has increased
when closing (or when opening)
The thrust of the operator during closing (or
opening) is too low
Limit switches incorrectly adjusted
Insufficient operation time
Door with great resistance at closing point
Insufficient thrust
}
photocells, as well as their installation, have not
suffered any damage from the weather or external
agents.
Solution
Re-establish the power supply
Check that the installation does not
present any short-circuits or cut-off points
Place the handle in locking position for
motorised operation
Replace F1/F2 using another fuse of the
same value and investigate the cause of
failure of F1/F2
Install a normally closed STOP pushbutton
or bridge the terminals
Check the cabling and device (photocell or
safety strip)
Review, repair or adjust
Review, repair or adjust
Check the moving parts of the door and
remove the resistance
Using programming, increase the opening
or closing thrust
Adjust the limit switches
Increase operation time (TM)
Select closing impulse (DIP3=ON)
Select DIP1=ON
The operator must be deposited in the appropriate
containers for subsequent recycling, separating and
classifying of the different materials in line with their
nature. NEVER deposit it in domestic rubbish or in
landfills which are not suitably controlled, as this will
cause environmental contamination.
