OBSTACLE DETECTION FUNCTIONING

The door can detect an obstacle in two ways:
A- Detection by photocell or mechanical
strip (S.G)
The safety device only operates during closing, in other
words:
• if, during opening, the safety device is activated,
the door continues to open
• if, during closing, the safety device is activated, the
door inverts operation direction and opens
completely

Installation Guide
Close: at the end of standby time (or when using the
key command), the closing operation begins.
If, during closing, the key command is activated, the
door inverts operation direction and opens
completely.
Close: the closing process starts up by using the key
command.
If, during closing, the key command is activated, the
door inverts operation direction and opens
completely.
B- Direct detection (built-in safety)
During opening and closing: the operator has an
electronic thrust limiter, which can be adjusted using
PM (see "Fig. 3 Control board connections and
components" on page 45). If the door comes across an
obstacle, the thrust limiter comes into operation,
meaning the door will continue to push but with a
limited thrust.
With the LTT15 SENS anti-crush sensor installed
(optional), if the door comes across an obstacle
during closing, it inverts operation and opens.
It is essential to correctly adjust the maximum
thrust when first starting up the facility.
The ZEUS operator complies with safety legislation in
line with the following directives and standards:
• 73/23 EEC and successive modification 93/68 EEC
• 89/366 EEC and successive modifications 92/31 EEC
and 93/68 EEC
• UNE-EN 60335-1
