Press the clamp of the cable knife in the
direction of the arrow. Insert a length of
20 cm of cable.
Note: The cable knife must be set to a
cutting depth of 1.5 mm.
Make a second slit up to the end of the
cable on the opposite side of the jacket.
First turn the cable through 180°.
Cut off remnants of the jacket, Kevlar
fibers and foil with scissors.

Rotate the cable knife twice.
Then make a second slit up to the end of
the cable starting from the round cut.

Slit the outer jacket up to the end of the
cable.
Remove the outer jacket, Kevlar fibers
and foil working from the end of the cable
towards the round cut leaving the black
and orange FO cords.
