2.3 Service Wiring

2.3.1 Ground Connection

Always connect the Neutral at the service to Earth
Ground. If ground is not provided by the electrical ser-
vice, a grounding stake must be installed nearby. The
grounding stake must be connected to the ground bar in
the main breaker panel, and Neutral connected to
Ground at that point.
2.3.2 240V Single-Phase
WARNING! If the DC Wallbox is a single-
phase device, do not connectto a three-
phase feed.
WARNING! The following diagram
illustrates the DC Wallbox connection to
L1 and L2 in a single-phase power grid
feed. The earth ground must be connected
to neutral at a single point, typically at
the breaker panel.
WARNING! An earth connection is
essential before connecting supply.
2.3.3 277V Single-Phase
WARNING! If the DC Wallbox is a single-
phase device, do not connectto a three-
phase feed.
WARNING! The following diagram
illustrates the DC Wallbox connection
to L1 and N in a single-phase power grid
feed. The earth ground must be connected
to neutral at a single point, typically at
the breaker panel.

WARNING! The following diagram
illustrates the DC Wallbox connection to
L1, L2, L3, and neutral in a y-connection
power grid feed. The earth ground must
be connected to neutral at a single point,
typically at the breaker panel.

illustrates the DC Wallbox connection
to L1, L2, and L3. Neutral connection is
not required.
