3.2 Perform treatment

The following is a description of a standard treatment session
with the PARI O-PEP. Under certain circumstances, your doctor
or therapist may recommend adopting a different treatment
approach. In order to achieve the desired therapeutic outcome
with the PARI O-PEP, always perform the treatment as
instructed by your doctor or therapist.
• Hang the PARI O-PEP around
your neck using the support
strap.
This will prevent the
PARI O-PEP from falling or
being dropped.
• Sit in an upright position and
relax.
Info: In special cases, a lying
position is possible under the
supervision of a competent per-
son.
• Support the PARI O-PEP and
hold it so that the mouthpiece is
horizontal.
• Hold the mouthpiece between
your teeth and enclose it with
your lips.
Make sure that the holes in the upper part are unobstructed
and not covered by your hand.
• Breathe in as slowly and deeply as possible through your
nose.
• Hold your breath for about 1 to 2 seconds.
