Installation instructions, only for experts
Clip the four connectors for the heater sensor wire to the heater sensor. Observe
the operating instructions for your sauna control unit when doing so. (The heater
sensor wires for the WC4-B-F1D and WC4-F1H sensors are already connected.)
1. Connect the two white heater sensor wires to the sauna control unit in ac-
cordance with the operating instructions.
2. Connect one of the red heater sensor wires to the sauna control unit in ac-
cordance with the operating instructions.
3. Connect the second red heater sensor wire to one of the two red wires of
the safety shut-off (using a lustre terminal, for example).
4. Guide the second wire of the red silicone cable for the safety shut-off to
the sauna control unit and connect them to the unassigned terminal of the
excess temperature fuse.
The heater sensor wires and wires for installing the safety shut-off may
be extended under the following conditions:
● When a silicone cable resistant to temperatures up to 150 °C is used.
● The minimum cross-section of the wire totals 0.5 mm
● The length of the heater sensor wires may NOT exceed 10 m.

5.3. Checking the safety shut-off

After installation, check that the safety shut-off functions correctly.
1. Turn on the sauna control unit and start any operating mode.
2. Press the rocker of the safety shut-off downwards.
► The sauna control unit is supposed to switch off the sauna heater.
Depending on the sauna control unit, a beep tone is emitted and/or an
error message is displayed.
► If this is not the case, continue with section 7. Troubleshooting on
page 14.
