Padlocking facility

If required, the plug and socket system is
available with a padlocking facility for
safeguarding it when connected (shackle
diameter 3-6 mm)

Warning:

Isolate plug and socket connector
before carrying out maintenance / repair
work.
When opening the apparatus, ensure that
no potentially explosive atmosphere is
present.
The valid national regulations for the
servicing / maintenance of electrical
apparatus for use in potentially explosive
atmospheres shall be observed.
During maintenance work, pay special
attention to checking, the parts on which
the explosion protection depends (e.g. the
perfect condition of the enclosure, seals,
plug pins and contact sockets).
Only original manufacturer parts shall be
used for carrying out repairs.
In the event of damage to the plug pins or
contact sockets, these components shall
be replaced immediately or the respective
apparatus shall be sent to the
manufacturer for repair.
In the event of damage to the flameproof
encapsulation, the apparatus has to be
replaced. If in doubt, send the plug and
socket connector back to the
manufacturer for repair.
Repairs that affect the explosion
protection may only be carried out by the
manufacturer or by a qualified electrician
in compliance with the respective national
regulations.
Modifications or changes to the design of
the plug and socket systems are not
permitted.
The intervals between servicing are to be
stipulated by the operator of the plug and
socket connector.
Please note:
-> Do not work or paint surfaces for limiting
gaps.
-> Check all parts of the plug and socket
system for damage.
-> Do not repair damaged parts of the plug
and socket connector.
-> Do not repair damaged parts of the plug
and socket connector.
-> Beschädigte Teile bzw. gesamte Steckvor-
richtung wechseln.

-> Dispose of the plug and socket correctly
in accordance with the local regulations.
