(C) SOUNDPROOFING
The sound attenuating shroud significantly
reduces the noise generated by the burner
(- 10 dBA).
The casing is in steel and sound-damping
material and fully encloses the burner.
The casing is wheel-mounted so that it can
be easily removed for burner inspection.
(D) THE DEGASSING UNIT
It may occur that a certain amount of air is
contained in the light oil sucked up by the
pump. This air may originate from the light oil
itself as a consequence of depressurization
or air leaking past imperfect seals.
In double-pipe systems, the air returns to the
tank from the return pipe; in single-pipe sys-
tems, the air remains in circulation causing
pressure variations in the pump and burner
malfunctions.
For this reason, we advise installing a de-
gassing unit near the burner in single-pipe
installations. Degassing units are provided in
two versions: with and without filter.

TEST BOILER (E)
The firing rates on page 8 were set in relation to
special test boilers in accordance with the meth-
ods defined in DIN 4787, UNI 7824 standards.
Figure (E) indicates the diameter and length of
the test combustion chamber.
Example: delivery 25 kg/hour:
diameter = 50 cm; length = 1 m.
Whenever the burner is operated in a much
smaller
commercially-available
chamber, a preliminary test should be per-
formed.

(C) SYSTEME D'INSONORISATION
Il sert à réduire de façon très appréciable le
bruit provoqué par le brûleur (- 10 dBA).
Construit en acier et en matériau insonori-
sant, il renferme complètement le brûleur.
Le système est monté sur roues et peut faci-
lement être déplacé pour le contrôle du brû-
leur.
(D) DEGAZEUR
Il se peut que dans le fioul aspiré par la pom-
pe il y ait de l'air provenant du fioul propre-
ment dit soumis à dépression ou de quelque
joint pas parfaitement hermétique.
Dans les installations à double tuyau, l'air re-
vient dans la cuve par le tuyau de retour;
dans les installations à un tuyau, au contrai-
re, il reste en circulation en causant des va-
riations de pression dans la pompe et un
mauvais fonctionnement du brûleur.
Pour résoudre ce problème, nous con-
seillons pour les installations à un seul
tuyau, d'installer un dégazeur à proximité du
brûleur.
Il peut être fourni en deux versions: sans fil-
tre et avec filtre.

CHAUDIERE D'ESSAI (E)
Les plages de puissance de la page 8 ont été
établies sur des chaudières d'essai spéciales se-
lon des méthodes fixées par les normes DIN
4787 et UNI 7824.
Nous reportons fig. (E) le diamètre et la longueur
de la chambre de combustion d'essai.
Exemple: Débit 25 kg/heure:

Si le brûleur devait fonctionner sur une chambre
de combustion commerciale nettement plus peti-
te, il serait opportun d'effectuer un essai prélimi-
naire.

Om de geluidshinder, die de brander veroor-
zaakt, sterk te dempen (- 10 dBA).
Het systeem omsluit de hele brander en is
vervaardigd uit staal en geluidsdempend
materiaal.
De demper is gemonteerd op wielen zodat
deze gemakkelijk kan worden verplaatst bij
controle van de brander.
(D) ONTGASSER
Het is mogelijk, dat er zich lucht verzamelt in
de stookolie die door de pomp wordt aange-
zogen; tengevolge van onderdruk of een niet
hermetisch afgesloten dichting.
Bij een installatie met tweepijpsysteem, komt
de lucht via de terugloopleiding weer in de
brandstoftank. Bij een installatie met één-
pijpsysteem blijft de lucht circuleren en ver-
oorzaakt drukschommelingen in de pomp en
bij gevolg een slechte werking van de bran-
der.
Om dit probleem op te lossen, is het bij één-
pijpsystemen aangeraden een ontgasser
nabij de brander te plaatsen.
De ontgasser is verkrijgbaar in twee uitvoe-
ringen: met of zonder filter.

PROEFKETEL (E)
Het werkingsveld op blz.8 is het resultaat van
testen met speciale proefketels, volgens metho-
des, voorgeschreven door de normen DIN 4787
en UNI 7824.
In figuur (E) zijn de diameter en de lengte van de
testverbrandingskamer aangegeven.
Voorbeeld: Debiet 25 kg/h:
diameter = 50 cm; lengte = 1 m.
Als de brander dient te werken met een veel klei-
nere verbrandingskamer, is het aangeraden
vooraf een test te doen.
