6.2.1 Assembly format SAE

Before assembly, check that the coupling
seats (both on generator and engine) are in
order and perfectly clean.
CAUTION!
• Remove the protective grids (6). For the SAE3 version,
remove the plastic caps (7) on the bell to give easier
access when mounting the 11.5 disk;
• Make sure the diameter of the disk (3) corresponds with
the diameter of the seat in the flywheel (2);
• Anchor the generator to the engine by locking the SAE
bell (4), making sure that the holes in disk and flywheel
are aligned;
• Check that the exciter rotor and stator are perfectly
aligned;
• Mount the assembly on antivibration plugs (5) making
sure that engine and generator are level;
• Fit the plastic caps (7) on the bell (only on version SAE3)
and fasten the grids (6).
