f) Torque setting ring
By turning the torque-setting ring (2) the desired torque at which the slid-
ing clutch is activated can be set . Thus, the screw cannot be overtight-
ened, e.g. when screwing it in; the screw flushes with the material surface
if the torque setting has been selected properly.
• Decrease the value by turning the torque-setting ring in direction (A)
• Increase the value by turning the torque-setting ring in direction (B).
The torque-setting ring has different positions (a marking on the top shows
the currently selected value):
• Low setting: Soft materials, small screws
• High setting: Hard materials, large screws
• Drill symbol: Sliding clutch is deactivated, for drilling holes
For screwing out screws select a higher value or the "Drill" setting (drill symbol).
g) Belt clip
The belt clip allows you to hooks the cordless drill driver to a suitable belt
during breaks or for transport .
If desired, the belt clip can be attached to the left (A) or right (B) side of the
cordless drill driver. You can also remove the belt clip completely if you do
not need it.
Never use the belt clip on expensive, high quality belts. The metal
edges of the belt clip can scratch or damage the belt.
h) LED light to illuminate working area
Upon pressing the on/off switch (10), the LED (11) below the handle lights
up automatically to illuminate the working area.
