• Never subject the cordless drill driver to such a high load that the drive stops. This can damage both the
motor and the gearbox. Blocking the drive can also cause high levels of current to build up, causing the
battery and the power electronics in the cordless drill driver to overload.
• Do not insert any objects into the ventilation slots of the cordless drill driver. In addition, make sure that
no drilling dust or metal shavings get into the ventilation slots. This could cause a short circuit, and there
is also the risk of fire and explosion from the battery.
• Depending on the activity, safety goggles, a dust mask and ear defenders must be worn when working
with the cordless drill driver, and a protective helmet should also be worn if necessary (e.g. overhead
work). Otherwise there is a risk of numerous injuries!
• Dust from materials can be harmful to health and cause allergic reactions, respiratory illnesses and even
cancer (materials containing asbestos must be handled by a qualified technician).
• Always observe all relevant national regulations (e.g. occupational safety measures).
• Hold the cordless drill driver firmly during use. In the event of a sudden stop of the drive (for example, if
a drill bit locks up) the torque is transmitted to the cordless drill driver itself and it turns sideways. Due to
this, the cordless drill driver might fall out of your hands, risk of injury!
Switch the cordless drill driver off immediately if the drive becomes blocked (e.g. if a drill bit gets jammed
in a workpiece).
• Wait until the motor has come to a complete standstill before placing the cordless drill driver onto a
surface.
• The cordless drill driver has a bright LED light, which lights up automatically when the on/off switch is
pressed.
Attention, LED light: Do not look directly at the LED light! Do not look into the beam directly or with optical
instruments! Danger of damage to eyes!
