Now you can set the wing onto the fuselage. Make sure that neither
cable nor connector are clamped or jammed. The wing is fastened with 3
screws with a diameter of 3 mm. The long 15 mm screw is used at the
front (3) and both 10 mm screws are screwed at the rear (4).
Check the correct orientation of the wing in relation to the fuselage. Both
lines A and B must be equally long. To measure, use a thin thread that
does not stretch even under light tensile stress. If necessary, unscrew
the fastening screws of the wing; readjust the wing and screw the latter
tightly again in the correct position.
f) Mounting the elevator unit
Place the elevator unit (1) on the contact area at the end of the fuselage
(see figure 7c) and centre it then screw it tightly using two 2 x 10 mm
screws (2). Ensure that the screws grip exactly into the plastic screw
slots (see figure 7c, Pos. 3) that are embedded in the fuselage.
To be able to navigate the model with precision later on and to have it fly
straight, the elevator unit (1) must be aligned parallel to the wing (4). In
order to check the exact position of the tail unit in relation to the wing and
to be able to identify any incorrect position, observe the model from a
distance of approximately 1m from behind.
