[b] MULTI COMPRESSOR RACK SYSTEM
Use an appropriate condensing unit such as:
FM-1200ALKE(-N)
OP-LCHC068NTA02 by DANFOSS
Evaporating temperature: -25°C 2830W
FM-1800ALKE(-N)
OP-LCHC108NTA02 by DANFOSS
Evaporating temperature: -25°C 4300W
When the condensing unit operates for more than
one icemaker, install a ball valve on the liquid line
and suction line.
1) If suction pressure of the condensing unit
exceeds 0.10 MPa (1.05 bar), remove the EPR
(evaporating pressure regulator) from the suction
line. See Fig. 8.
2) To e n s u r e t h e m o s t e ff i c i e n t i c e m a k i n g
capacity (10/10°C), set the icemaker as below.
For details, refer to the specifications on the
dimensional drawing.
Suction pressure: 0.10 MPa (1.05 bar)
Evaporating temperature: -24°C
3) While the icemaker is running, check whether
s u c t i o n p r e s s u r e o f t h e c o n d e n s i n g u n i t
and evaporating pressure of the EPR are
appropriate.
4) If the condensing unit has an inverter system,
set evaporating temperature to -25°C.
5) Piping length and height of the condensing
unit vary with installation environment and
connection method. Connect piping so that
discharge pressure of the condensing unit will
be 1.32 MPa (13.5 bar) or more. Otherwise,
pressure loss may increase and ice making
capacity may decrease.
6) Lay horizontal piping on the downgrade (1/200).
Remove EPR
[c] LIQUID AND SUCTION LINES
1) The icemaker must be connected to the liquid
and suction lines of the compressor system using
two copper tubes of sufficient sizes directed
to the rear of the icemaker for connection to
the pre-fitted internal copper tubes. Both tubes
should be insulated separately.
