-
Set temperature and use switch E to increase and switch D to decrease temperature.
-
Press switch A for a few seconds until pilot light B above it comes on to override pre-heating function F and go
directly to the set temperature. The display always shows the current temperature value. To find out the set
temperature, just press key E. When the set temperature is reached, an acoustic signal will indicate 'appliance
ready'.
-
In order to carry out 'RAPID' pre-heating, press A and keep F pressed for a few seconds until red light G above
the switch comes on. In this status the fryer works intermittently until the temperature of 100° C is reached.
The fryer automatically comes on again when the temperature falls below a set level, so that the oil is maintained in pre-
heating status. If you need to heat the oil to the set frying temperature, just keep switch F pressed for a few minutes until
luminous light G goes off. The appliance will then automatically reheat the oil if it falls below the required temperature.
- Press switch A (fig.9) STOP.
- Turn the knob (Fig.8) back position "0".
- Turn the knob (Fig. 7) back to the 'SWITCH-ON' position.
- Turn the knob (fig.7) to 'EVERYTHING SWITCHED OFF' position and turn off the gas stopcock behind the appliance.
- Switch off the circuit breaker.
- Place the lid on the frying compartments/frying compartments.
In order to drain the basin of the used oil, allow the oil to cool, open the fryer's door, fit the oil collection basin with the
relevant filter, if it has not already been inserted, and open the drain cock. The oil is discharged through the cock and the
basin empties. To keep the oil at its best, it is advisable to leave it in a cool place once it has been filtered.
The instrument's analog storage enables the set temperature to be protected from short power cuts so that the appliance
can resume operations from the state in which it found itself at the moment in which the power supply failed.
If the time that elapses between the switch-off of a board in 'START' status and the next switch-on falls within the
protection period, when power is restored all the previously set data are shown.
If the power remains switched off for a period that is longer than the protection the display shows the message 'PF',
which alternates with the measured temperature value and the intermittent acoustic signal is activated. Press switch A for
at least 1 second to leave this alarm status and restore the previously set conditions.
If the device has faults, the display shows the relative fault message:
"EO" flashing on the display and an intermittent sound indicate one of the following faults:
-
incorrect type of probe or probe or connections fault;
-
temperature outside measurable range.
Check instrument-probe connection and correct operation of the latter (output is deactivated).
"E2" flashing on display and intermittent sound indicate the following fault:
-
damage to stored configuration data.
Try to switch off the appliance and switch it on again (output is deactivated).
"EOC" flashing on display and intermittent sound indicate the following fault:
-
compensation circuit of cold joint faulty (output is deactivated).
Call after-sales service.

3.1 ROUTINE MAINTENANCE
At the end of the working day, clean the appliance, both for reasons of hygiene and to prevent operating faults.
Do not clean the appliance with direct or high-pressure jets of water, is forbidden to use flammable materials, solvents,
and do not use metal pads, brushes or scrapers in normal steel. If necessary, use stainless steel pads, but do not rub
them against the grain of the metal of the appliance.
Use warm soapy water on steel surfaces and then rinse in plenty of water and dry with a soft cloth. Maintain the shine by
regular polishing with a normal liquid polish.
