Warning: If the requirements for ventilation are
NOT complied with, the cooling airlow around
the product will be considerably reduced and
the product can overheat.
This can cause a ire.
3. Distance to combustible material
Firewall
Ensure that the safety distances are fulilled.
(FIG 1).
When connecting a steel chimney to the top outlet use
the security distances required by the manufacturer.
Important! When placing the insert on a
combustible loor, a steel plate of at least 0.7mm
must cover the entire loor surface inside the
surround. Any looring made of combustible
material, such as linoleum, carpets etc. must be
removed from underneath the steel plate.
The insert expands when in use, and for this
reason the surround must NEVER rest on the
insert, but have a gap of about 3 mm. The
insert must neither rest on the bench plate
or against the sides. It is recommended to
dry stack the surround in order to adjust the
insert prior to perforating the chimney for the
lue connection.
4. Assembly
Before the insert is removed from the pallet, remove the
accessories in the combustion chamber. To acess the
combustion chamber, do as follows:
1. Loosen the transport safety from the counterweight
and loosen the screw fastening the transport safety to
the product. Push the transport safety away from the
counterweight FIG 3A.
2. Make sure both wires are in place before opening the
door FIG 3B
3. Remove alle loose accessories from the combustion
chamber. Use the list of contents to make sure all parts
are included. Before lifting the product of the pallet,
secure the counterweight with the transport safety.
4. The insert is placed on two rails on top of the pallet.
In order to remove it from the rails and pallet, loosen
the screws and remove the brackets holding it in place.
Before lifting the insert of the pallet, fasten the screws
removed from the legs FIG 2.
Operational control
When the insert is in an upright position, and prior to
mounting the surround, check that all
functions are easy to use and appear satisfactory.
1. Adjust the legs. Make sure the insert is level.
2. Loosen the transport safety. Make sure the
wires holding the door are in place.
3. Make sure the door can be opened and closed
properly.
Attention! The pulleys on each side of the door are
coated with special heat resistant grease. If a new
grease is needed, contact one of our dealers to
make sure the right type of grease is used.

If the insert is connected to the smokepipe
sideways, attach the small radiation shield around the
pulley closest to the smokepipe.

Self-closing door
To make the door self closing, do as follows;
1. Use a lat screwdriver to move the three clamps
holding the weights in place outwards FIG 4(A)
2. Remove the weight ittet with a handle FIG 4(B)
3. Carefully push the clamps back in place.
Cleaning the glass FIG 5A-B
If it becomes necessary to clean the glass, pull out the
two small handles above the door to keep it in place
FIG 5A. Pull out the lock handle on the left side of the
door and open the door. After cleaning the glass, irst
lock the handle on the left side of the door before
pushing the two small handles back in place.
Caution!! Be careful when opening the door
sideways. Some surrounds have marble/waxed
concrete parts and grates quite close to the door
and both the door and surrounding parts may
sustain damage if carelessly operated.
Radiation shields, rear and around smoke collar.
The insert is itted with a rear radiation shield and a
separate shield around the smoke collar(FIG 6-7). To
utilize the rear or side connection, remove the cut in
the radiation shield. To keep the smoke collar radia-
tion shield in place, push the upper and lower cuts in
towards the smokepipe
