1 Zweckbestimmung
Elektrochirurgisches Equipment zum Schneiden und Koagulieren von Gewebe.
I
ndikationen
Das Messer ist Teil des ERGO 315R Instruments (REF 770-502; REF 770-503).

Das ERGO 315R ist für die Gefäßversiegelung von arteriellen und venösen Blutgefäßen sowie vaskularisiertem
Gewebe bei laparoskopischen und offenchirurgischen Einsätzen in vielfältigen chirurgischen Disziplinen
(einschließlich aber nicht beschränkt auf Allgemeinchirurgie, Gynäkologie, Urologie, Thoraxchirurgie u.a.)
bestimmt.
Das Instrument kann zusätzlich zum Durchtrennen von Gewebe benutzt werden.
Kontraindikationen
Gefäßversiegelungs- / Ligationsinstrumente dürfen nicht mit direktem Kontakt zum Herz, Zentralem
Nervensystem oder dem Zentralem Kreislaufsystem verwendet werden.
Verwenden Sie keine Gefäßversiegelungs- / Ligationsinstrumente, wenn ihre Operationstechniken
kontraindiziert sind.
Gefäßversiegelungs- / Ligationsinstrumente dürfen nicht angewendet werden, wenn nach Meinung eines
erfahrenen Arztes oder gemäß der aktuellen Fachliteratur eine solche Anwendung eine Gefährdung des
Patienten hervorrufen würde, z. B. aufgrund des Allgemeinzustands des Patienten, oder andere.
2 Gebrauch
1. Benutzen Sie aseptische Techniken beim Herausnehmen des Produktes aus der Verpackung.
2. Verwenden Sie die Klinge nur in Verbindung mit dem Instrument ERGO 315R. Funktionsweise,
Sicherheitshinweise und Anwendungsablauf: siehe Gebrauchsanweisung zum Instrument ERGO 315R.
3. Um Verletzungen zu vermeiden, montieren Sie die Klinge mit Hilfe des Montagehalters an die Messerstange
des Instruments. Detaillierte Beschreibung siehe Gebrauchsanweisung zum Instrument.
4. Um Verletzungen zu vermeiden, verwenden Sie die Montagehilfe zur einfachen und sicheren Montage des
Instruments ERGO 315R.
5. Verwenden Sie die Reinigungsspitze am Montagehalter zum Säubern des Messerkanals während der
Anwendung.
6. Entfernen Sie nach Gebrauch die Klinge mit einem geeigneten Hilfsmittel (z.B. Nadelhalter, Klemme, Pinzette,
o.ä.) ähnlich einer Skalpellklinge.
3 Sicherheitshinweise
• Bei geöffneter oder beschädigter Verpackung ist das Produkt nicht mehr steril und darf nicht mehr verwendet
werden. Nicht resterilisieren!
• Produkt ist zum Einmalgebrauch bestimmt und darf nicht resterilisiert werden.
• Produkt nicht mehr verwenden, wenn das Verfalldatum abgelaufen ist.
• Beachten Sie die Gebrauchsanweisung des HF-Generators sowie die allgemeinen Hinweise zu
elektrochirurgischen Eingriffen.
• Produkt vor Gebrauch auf Beschädigung prüfen. Defekte Teile dürfen nicht verwendet werden.
• Melden Sie Vorkommnisse und Beinaheunfälle Ihrer länderspezifischen Medizinprodukte-Behörde. Beachten
Sie dabei das betriebsinterne Meldesystem. Benachrichtigen Sie in diesen Fällen Ihren lokalen BOWA-
Fachhändler.
4 Umweltbedingungen
4.1 Lagerung/Transport
Bis zur Benutzung wird die Lagerung der Produkte in der Originalverpackung an einem trockenen Ort möglichst
bei Raumtemperatur empfohlen. Schützen Sie die sterilisierten Produkte vor direktem Sonnenlicht und vor
mechanischer Gewalt, wie Zug- oder Knickbelastung . Die Lagerdauer der sterilisierten Produkte hängt von der
Verpackungsart und den Lagerbedingungen ab.
4.2 Betrieb
Verwenden Sie das Instrument möglichst bei Raumtemperatur und schützen es vor mechanischer Gewalt, wie
Zug- oder Knickbelastung. Achten Sie darauf, dass das Operationsfeld gut sichtbar und frei von brennbaren
Gasen ist.
5 Entsorgung
Die Entsorgung der Medizinprodukte, des Verpackungsmaterials sowie des Zubehörs muss nach den jeweils
geltenden länderspezifischen Vorschriften und Gesetzen erfolgen.

1 Intended Purpose
Electrosurgical equipment for cutting and coagulation of tissue.

The blade is part of the ERGO 315R instrument (REF 770-502; REF 770-503).

The ERGO 315R is intended to be used to seal arterial and venous blood vessels and vascular tissue structures in
laparoscopic and open surgical procedures in various surgical disciplines (including but not limited to general
surgery, gynaecology, urology, thoracic surgery and others).
The instrument can also be used to cut tissue.
Contraindications
Vessel sealing/ligation instruments must not be used in direct contact with the heart, central nervous system or
central circulatory system.
Do not use vessel sealing/ligation instruments if their surgical techniques are contraindicated.
Do not use vessel sealing/ligation instruments if, in the opinion of an experienced physician or according to
current specialist literature, such use would endanger the patient, for example due to the patient's general
condition, or if other contraindications are present.
2 Use
1. Use aseptic techniques when removing the product from the packaging.
2. Use the blade only in conjunction with the ERGO 315R instrument. For functionality, safety instructions and
application procedure: see instructions for use for the ERGO 315R instrument.
3. To prevent injury, mount the blade to the blade rod of the instrument using the blade holder. For a detailed
description, see the instructions for use for the instrument.
4. To prevent injury, use the mounting aid for simple and safe assembly of the ERGO 315R instrument.
5. Use the cleaning tip on the blade holder to clean the blade groove during use.
6. Use a suitable aid (e.g. needle holder, clamp, forceps, etc.) to remove the blade in the same way as a scalpel
blade.
3 Safety instructions
• If the packaging is opened or damaged, the product is no longer sterile and must not be used. Do not
resterilise!
• The product is intended for single use and must not be resterilised.
• Do not use the product after the use-by date.
• Observe the instructions for use of the HF generator and the general instructions for electrosurgical operations.
• Check the product for damage before use. Defective parts must not be used.
• Report any incidents or near misses to your country's medical devices regulatory agency. When doing so, follow
your own facility's internal reporting system. Notify your local BOWA specialist retailer in such cases.
4 Environmental conditions
4.1 Storage/transport
It is recommended to store the products in their original packaging in a dry place at room temperature until they
are used. Protect the sterilised products from sunlight and from mechanical force, such as tensile or buckling
loads. The storage life of the sterilised products depends on the type of packaging and the storage conditions.
4.2 Operation
Use the instrument at room temperature, if possible, and protect it from mechanical force, such as tensile or
buckling loads. Ensure that the operation site is clearly visible and is free of flammable gases.
5 Disposal
The medical devices, packaging material and accessories must be disposed of in accordance with any applicable
country-specific regulations and laws.

ERGO 315R est un instrument destiné au scellement de vaisseaux sanguins artériels et veineux ainsi que des
tissus vascularisés lors d'interventions laparoscopiques et de chirurgie ouverte dans de nombreuses disciplines
chirurgicales (incluant, mais sans s'y limiter, la chirurgie générale, la gynécologie, l'urologie, la chirurgie
thoracique, etc.).
L'instrument peut également être utilisé pour sectionner les tissus.
Contre-indications
Les instruments destinés au scellement/aux ligatures ne doivent en aucun cas être utilisés en contact direct avec
le cœur, le système nerveux central ou le système circulatoire central.
N'utilisez pas d'instruments destinés au scellement/aux ligatures si leurs modes opératoires sont contre-
indiqués.
Les instruments destinés au scellement et aux ligatures ne peuvent pas être utilisés si, selon l'avis d'un médecin
expérimenté ou selon les dernières informations de la littérature spécialisée, une telle utilisation peut constituer
une mise en danger du patient, par ex. en raison de l'état de santé général du patient, entre autres.
2 Utilisation
1. Il convient d'utiliser des techniques aseptiques pour extraire le produit de son emballage.
2. Utilisez la lame uniquement en combinaison avec l'instrument ERGO 315R. Fonctionnement, consignes de
sécurité et processus d'utilisation : voir le mode d'emploi relatif à l'instrument ERGO 315R.
3. Pour éviter de vous blesser, montez la lame sur le porte-lame de l'instrument à l'aide du support de montage.
