15) Pay close attention when operating the machine in reverse, make sure that there are no
obstacles behind you. In case of danger release the handlebar and the machine will stop
immediately.
16) Make sure you work preferably in natural light or good artificial light.

Any improper use will void the warranty and the manufacturer will not be held responsible for
any damage that occurs thereafter.
18) Do not use the machine to transport people, animals or objects.
19) Never disable safety devices.
20) Always stop the engine before making any adjustment or cleaning.
21) Never allow anyone to check the machine with engine running.
22) Never clean the all purpose flail with the engine running.
23) The user is always responsible for injuries or damages caused to third parties and for any risk
they could run.
24) Damaged blades must always be replaced and never repaired.
25) Always use genuine Grillo spare parts.
26) Before starting any work with the machine, check that all the accident prevention systems with
which it is equipped with are in perfect working order. They must never be disabled or tampered
with.
27) Before starting work, check that the nuts and bolts securing the blades are perfectly secured.

Never operate the machine without safety protective devices in place (such as mudguards and
engine bonnets).
29) Hold your feet away from the blades when starting the machine.
30) Do not lift or transport the machine with the engine running.
31) It is dangerous to sharply activate the levers with the engine at maximum r.p.m.

Do not operate the engine in a confined space where dangerous carbon monoxide fumes can
collect.
34) Refuel outdoors and away from any open flames or sparks. Never smoke when refuelling. Stop
the engine before refuelling and never refuel with the engine running
35) Avoid spillages and clean up all spills straight away.
36) Store fuel in containers especially designed for this purpose
37) Drain the fuel only outdoors
38) Allow the engine to cool before storing in any enclosure.
39) CAUTION: To reduce the risk of fire, keep the engine, the exhaust pipe and the exhaust
manifolds free from grass, leaves, dust, etc...

We recommend the use of ear plugs/protection should the walking tractor be used for a prolonged
time. Use acoustic protections compliant with the current law (see picture below – Fig. A).
