Replace the table insert when worn.
Familiarise with the safety procedures for cleaning,
maintenance and regular removal of sawdust and
dust to reduce the risk of fire.
Make sure the flange used is suitable for the given
purpose of use, as specified by the manufacturer.
Use only original accessories and original spare parts.
Switch the machine immediately off when blocked.
Unplug the machine and remove the stuck piece of
wood.
Handling equipment to be used only when handling
the machine.
The machine has been designed for DIY to cross
cut fire wood.
Cutting logs with diameter of more than 220 or 240
mm (depending on the model) is not allowed as
such workpieces would not be safe to hold.
The minimum diameter is 80 mm (pieces of wood
with a smaller diameter cannot be caught to barbs
and may slip off the cradle).
Workpiece diameter:
Minimum 80 mm
Maximum 220 or 240 mm
The maximum length of the material cut is 1,000
mm and the minimum length of the material cut is
500 mm.
Never machine more workpieces without clam-
ping devices at the same time.
As there is no exhauster, the circular saw for fire
wood may only be used outdoors.
Only such workpieces that can be safely laid and
held in the cradle may be processed.
Using HSS saw blades is not allowed as such steel is
hard and fragile.
Workpieces must not be held by hand.
Risk of injury as a result of saw blade breaking and
saw blade pieces being thrown away.
The use in accordance with the designation also
includes the satisfaction of manufacturer-specified
conditions for operation, maintenance and repairs
and following safety instructions included in the
manual.
It is necessary to follow the safety regulations
applicable for operation and other generally recog-
nised occupational therapy and safety technique
regulations. Any other use is considered a use in
conflict with the designation. The manufacturer will
not be held liable for any consequential damage of
any type: the risk will be borne by the user.
Optional changes to the saw exclude the liability
of the manufacturer for consequential damage of
any type.
The saw may only be made ready, used and
maintained by persons familiarised with such acts
and instructed in possible risks. Repairs may only be
executed by us or by customer services specified by
us. The machine must not be used in an explosion-
risk environment and must not be exposed to rain.
Metal parts (nails, etc.) must necessarily be removed
from the material cut.
Safe removal of possible blocking
Unplug the machine.
Check it and localise the blocking.
Remove the blocking while considering all safety
instructions.
Check the machine visually and make sure it is not
damaged. In particular, the saw blade must not show
any sign of damage.
Contact the Technical Assistance (see Servicing) if
there is any doubt regarding the blocking removal or
full operability.
Disposal
Disposal notes are based on the icons placed on the
machine or on its package.
Any damaged or disposed devices must
be delivered to appropriate collection
centres.
Batteries, oil, and similar substances must
not enter the environment.
Transport packaging disposal
The packaging protects the machine against damage
during transport. Packaging materials are usually
chosen based on environment aspects and waste
treatment principles and are therefore recyclable. Re-
turning the packaging into material circulation saves
raw materials and reduces waste production. Parts of
packagings (e.g. foils, styropor®) can be dangerous
for children.
Risk of suffocation!
Keep parts of the packagings out of reach of children
and dispose them as soon as possible.
Maintenance
Treatment, maintenance and cleaning may only be
performed when the drive is off and the machine idle.
The drive must necessarily be turned off when the
machine is not working properly.
