This appliance must not be used to perform other works
than those for which the appliance has been designed
and which are described in the Operating Instructions.
Any other use is conflict with the designation. The
manufacturer is not responsible for any indirect damages
and injuries. Please be sure to know that our appliances
have not been designed to be used for industrial
purposes.
Residual risks and protective measures
Direct electrical contact
Defective cable or plug may lead to life-threatening
electric shock.
Have any defective cable or plug replaced by an expert at
all times. Appliance to be used with connection including
a safety switch against stray current (RCD) only.
Indirect electrical contact
Injuries by conductive parts in case electrical
components are exposed or defective.
The appliance must always be unplugged for any
servicing works. To be used with the RCD switch only.
Inadequate local lighting
Insufficient lighting represents a high safety risk.
Provide adequate lighting for any work with the appliance.
Disposal
The disposal instructions are based on icons placed on
the appliance or its package. The description of the
meanings can be found in the "Marking" section.
Transport package disposal
The package protects the appliance against damage
during transport. Packing materials are usually chosen
depending on their environmental friendliness and
disposal method and can therefore be recycled.
Returning the package to material circulation saves raw
materials and reduces waste disposal costs.
Parts of packages (e.g. foils, styropor®) can be
dangerous to children. Risk of suffocation!
Keep parts of packages away from children and dispose
them as soon as possible.
Operator requirements
The operator must carefully read the Operating
Instructions before using the appliance.
Qualification
No special qualification is necessary for using the
appliance apart from detailed instruction by an expert.
Minimum age
The appliance can only be operated by persons over 16
years of age. An exception includes youngsters operating
the appliance within their professional education to
achieve necessary skills under trainer's supervision.
Training
Using the appliance only requires appropriate instructions
by a professional or reading the Operating Instructions.
No special training necessary.
Transport and storing
The appliance must be thoroughly cleaned and kept
out of reach of unauthorised persons when stored
for a long time.
Never store or transport the compressor turned over and
under pressure!
Pressure in the air jet may get reduced when the
compressed air gets cooler.
Assembly
Fit the transport wheels using a screwdriver as shown in
picture 2.
The order of bolts, nuts and washers is clear. Fastening material
– bolts, nuts, etc. – included in the supply.
Now fasten the rubber bumper at the bottom on the tank front.
Putting the appliance into operation
The compressor may be put into operation after reading the
general safety instructions and safety instructions before
putting the appliance into operation for the first time. In doing
so, proceed as follows:
Switching on
Plug the compressor feeder cable.
Press the On/Off button (2).
The compressor has been fitted with an automatic
pressure switch that switches the compressor off after
the maximum operating pressure is reached and
automatically on when air is needed again.
Operating pressure control
The operating pressure can be easily adjusted – turn the
adjustment knob (4) in the + direction, the operating
pressure will increase. Turn the knob in the - direction, the
operating pressure will drop. The operating pressure may
get fixed by tightening the adjustment ring.
The compressor has been fitted with an automatic safety
valve releasing pressure in case of overpressure. Pressure
in the air jet may be released manually by pulling the valve
ring (6).
Switching off
Compressor to be switched off using the On/Off button
(2) at all times and unplugged if not being used.
Be particular about the necessary delivered amount of the
pneumatic appliance! The pressure itself is NOT decisive for
perfect or sufficient operation. Short compressor starting after a
long period of storing without using it is normal!
Any scheduled repairs should only be executed by trained
specialised staff.
Never switch the compressor off using the plug.
Pressure switch
The compressor has been fitted with an automatic pressure
switch that is switched off by the compressor after reaching the
maximum operating pressure and switched automatically on
when air is needed. The cut-off pressure cannot be changed.
Inspections and servicing
Unplug the compressor before any work on the appliance. When
the compressor is not going to be used for a long time, it is
practical to add a few oil drops on the air filter insert. By this, the
compressor cylinder walls will be pre-lubricated when the
appliance is started the next time.
To clean the plastic parts, use a wet cloth. Do not use
cleaning agents, solvents or sharp items.
Use a soft brush to remove any deposited dust from the
ventilation slots and movable parts after the appliance was
used.
After using the appliance
Remove any dust off the ventilation slots and movable parts.
