5.) Fall Indicator
If fall indicators are fitted on products and these are visible
(even if no fall has occurred), then the product was subjected to
stress somehow, which no longer permits their further use as a
fastener. Please dispose of them immediately.
6.) Use in Elevating work platforms
6.1) The SKYSAFE PRO adjustable range is suitable for use
in Elevating Work Platforms (EWP). Use only anchor points
with the appropriate strength & compatibility and labelled as
such (at least 3 kN) that are mounted at least 40 cm below the
handrail. When using higher anchor points a safe operation is
no longer guaranteed. Do not climb on the railing of the platform.
6.2) The anchor point, and the entire platform extended in the
unfavorable case must be able to accommodate a dynamic
surge. User weight < 100kg: 3kN - max. 6kN. User weight <
140kg : max. 6kN. If the AP is higher, there is danger to full
failure and upset!
6.3) Violations by the impact on the working cage or the boom
can not be excluded.
7.) Rescue with Rescue Loop
When absorbing energy from a fall, the textile sheath ruptures
and the Rescue Loop becomes visible. A rescue device (with
rescue lift function) may be attached to the Rescue Loop. By
lifting, the fastening karabiner will be relieved at the anchor
point and may be released / opened. Then the rescue may be
carried out. Only the loops marked in the illustration may be
used as a fastener to the rescue device.
