Oil (multipurpose oil) movable metal parts
Regularly
Check all the screws for tightness.
Drain the condensate from the air tank regularly
(on monthly basis as a minimum). Non-
performance may result in expiry of the
warranty on rusting, otherwise the compressor
is maintenance-free.
(The condensate may acquire brownish colour
owing to the tint of the boiler).
1. Unplug!
2. Open the drain valve (4/9) at a low pressure
in the air tank (1 bar max) and drain the
condensate. (Use a proper container )
3. Close the valve.
Overloading protection:
If the compressor gets overloaded by a technical
defect or in result of continuous, the power supply will
be interrupted by a thermal cutout. If a situation like
that arises, it is advised to unplug the compressor and
let it cool down for about 5 minutes. If the compressor
does not start up again after some time, let the
compressor cool down for another 3 minutes.
Pressure switch :
The compressor is fitted with an automatic pressure
switch that will switch the unit off when the upper
operating pressure is reached. Once the demand of
air arises again, it will switch on automatically.
Switching-on pressure 6 bars, maximum pressure. 8
bars.
Air filter
The air filter cloth should be cleaned from time to time.
To do that, remove the screw from the air filter cover
(Fig. 3) and pull out the foam filter. That may be
cleaned with warm soapsuds. Let the foam filter dry
and put it back at place. Then, attach the air filter
cover again
