INSTALLATION
Connecting the Components
Use the following procedure as a guideline for making the
connections between the components of the remote shelf
system. These connections must be made by trained and
qualified installers and must comply with all local plumbing and
electrical codes. Refer to the SPECIFICATIONS section and
the wiring diagram included with the unit for details regarding
the plumbing and electrical connections.
1. Connect the liquid and suction refrigerant lines between
the condensing unit, the TXV valve, and the refrigerated
evaporator coil. Refer to the appropriate illustration below
and the SPECIFICATIONS section for connection details.
NOTE: The maximum refrigerant line length between the
condensing unit and the evaporator coil is 50 feet (15 m).
NOTE: For refrigerant line connections, use a self-fluxing
brazing compound (example = Sil-Fos 5
temperature range of 1300–1500°F (704–816°C).
