Enables you to use your own password (pin code) for establishing the Bluetooth connection. The
current valid password is displayed in brackets, e.g. standard (0000).
Automatic connection:
If Auto connection is active then a search will be run for saved mobile telephones as soon as the ignition
or the hands-free device is switched on. The last mobile telephone that it was connected to will always
be the first one to be searched for and then it will search through the other mobile telephones saved in

the list. The Bluetooth connection is established automatically with the first mobile telephone detected.
Auto connection is activated as a default.

9.2 Voice control

Additional help:
Switches Additional help on or off. Only the commands and conformations that are absolutely needed
will be read out if help is switched off. We recommend that only experienced drivers should switch off
the additional help system.
Audio feedback:
If Audio feedback is switched on then vocal instructions will be given when you touch the touchscreen,
e.g. telephone book entries will be read out.
User training:
The hands-free device's voice control works regardless of who the speaker is and this means that the
voice control system will normally be functioning without the driver's agreement. User training is needed
in certain cases, e.g. if you have a very strong dialect, in order to ensure that the voice control functions
work correctly. During the user training process the hands-free device will say twenty terms which must
be repeated out loud.

9.3 Audio

DSP:
The hands-free device uses integrated noise and echo suppression system (DSP). This function is
activated automatically and it ensures optimum voice quality for the majority of mobile telephones.
Various DSP settings can be entered if the voice quality is impaired.
Ringing tone:
You can use the Mobile setting to import your mobile telephone's ringing tone into the hands-free
device. The hands-free device also has eight ringing tones of its own. The selected ringing tone and the
mobile telephone's ringing tone will be replayed through the vehicle's speakers if a call comes in. Use
the Next or Previous voice command to page through the list.
Volume:
Menu for setting the basic voice instruction and ringing tone volume for the hands-free device. The
volume can be adjusted using the controller on the radio during the playback. The following voice
commands can be used within the menu Volume up, Volume down, Maximum and Minimum. Say Select
to confirm the setting.
Audio delay:
Use the and buttons to set a delay time between 0.0 - 3.0 seconds for the hands-free device's
voice.
