Operation

The hands-free device is operated by touching the appropriate buttons on the touchscreen ( Page 20)
or the voice control ( Page 21).

5.1 Accepting, making and ending a call

An incoming call is graphically indicated on the screen and acoustically by the hands-free device's ringing
tone coming from the vehicle's speakers. The telephone book entry is announced and displayed on the
screen if the caller is saved in the telephone book.

5.2 Call waiting

With a call waiting, you can swap back and forth between two active calls or place both calls together
for a teleconference where the participants can all communicate with each other simultaneously.

The range of functions available during calls will vary as they depends on the mobile telephone
network and the mobile telephone.
The current mobile telephone network only permits a maximum of two lines to be used for the
teleconference function.
