It is also hereby specified that colour variations observed between slats constituting the wooden duckboarding are normal and
natural.
In the event of the partial replacement of the slats constituting wooden or PVC duckboarding, and given the gradual discolouration
of said and colour variations between the batches of raw materials (wood or PVC) used, colour variations between the old and new
slats are normal and natural.
The following are outside the scope of the guarantee covering the wooden or PVC duckboarding:
Damage resulting from the use of the automatic cover other than in accordance with the prescriptions set out in the Operating
Recommendations:
- Use of the duckboarding as a diving platform.
- Use of the duckboarding as a walkway to enter or leave the pool.
- The application of a load greater than 80 Kg/m² to the duckboarding assembly..
4. Guarantee covering Thermodeck and Igloo cover housing
The wooden or PVC housing provided with Thermodeck and Igloo housing is covered by a 1 year guarantee, entering into effect
on the date on which the guarantee slip, appended hereto is received, having first been duly completed by the installer client, or, by
default, after a period of 30 days, said time period commencing on the cover delivery date.
The aforementioned guarantee covers the structural integrity of the metallic structure and the PVC or wooden slats constituting the
housing over time, subject to the conditions that said housing was installed in accordance with the technical recommendations set
out in the Installation Instructions concerning Thermodeck and Igloo covers and is used in accordance with the prescriptions set out
in the Operating Recommendations.
IMPORTANT:
- It is hereby recalled that the housing, as well as the wooden or PVC slats associated with it, serves an essentially decorative
function in that it hides the mechanical parts of the cover from view.
- It is also hereby specified that colour variations observed between slats constituting wooden housings are normal and natural.
Total or partial dismantling of the wooden or PVC housing associated with Thermodeck or Igloo covers will entail suspension of
the guarantee extended to the slat cover itself, in as far as said is comprised of translucent blue slats (See paragraph 1)
- The maximum load that may be applied to Thermodeck or Igloo II cover housing, constituted of wooden or PVC slats, is to the
order of 20 Kg/m².
The following are outside the scope of the guarantee covering Thermodeck and Igloo II cover housing:
Damage resulting from the use of the Thermodeck or Igloo automatic cover other than in accordance with the prescriptions set out
in the Operating Recommendations and, notably;
- Use of the Thermodeck or Igloo housing as a bench or diving platform.
- The application of a load greater than 20 Kg/m² to the Thermodeck or Igloo II housing.
5. Guarantee covering the Prefabricated Pit Wall
The components constituting the prefabricated pit wall that come with the Stardeck and Coverdeck covers are covered by a 5 year
guarantee.
The aforementioned guarantee enters into effect on the date on which the guarantee slip, appended hereto is received, having
first been duly completed by the installer client, or, by default, after a period of 30 days, said time period commencing on the cover
delivery date.
Said guarantee covers the prefabricated pit wall, subject to the conditions that said pit wall was installed in accordance with the
technical recommendations set out in the Installation Instructions concerning Delta covers and is used in accordance with the
prescriptions set out in the Operating Recommendations..
The following are outside the scope of the guarantee covering the Prefabricated Pit Wall:
- Damage resulting from the use of water treatment systems and/or products incompatible with the materials constituting the
prefabricated pit walls, or occasioned by the use of said other than in compliance with the instructions provided by the
manufacturers of the aforementioned systems and products.
The users's attention is specifically drawn to the risks of corrosion of some components of the prefabricated pit wall associated
with the presence of salt in the pool water whether or not said presence is combined with the use of a salt electrolysis system.
