IMPORTANT:
- In the event that the Delta cover is installed on a terrain susceptible to flooding, the motor pit must be fitted with a siphon and/or lift
pump to avoid any risk of flooding of the motor.
- it is hereby recalled that Delta automatic covers must be installed by a qualified electrician
2. Guarantee covering the electrical panel
The electrical panel provided with Delta covers is covered by a 5 year guarantee, entering into effect on the date on which the guarantee
slip, appended hereto is received, having first been duly completed by the installer client, or, by default, after a period of 30 days, said time
period commencing on the cover delivery date.
This guarantee covers the correct operation of the control panel, subject to the conditions that the aforementioned electrical panel was
installed in accordance with the technical recommendations set out in the Delta cover installation instructions and is used in accordance
with the prescriptions provided in the Operating Instructions.
The following are outside the scope of the guarantee covering electrical panels:
- Damage attributable to non-compliance with the electrical standards in effect and notably the French standard
NF C 15-100 dated December 2002 or equivalent.
- Damage to the control panel occasioned by lightening or electrical surges, said risk being covered by the house insurance generally
taken out by the user of the cover.
IMPORTANT: It is hereby recalled that the Delta automatic cover control panel must be installed by a qualified electriciané.
3. Guarantee covering the axle
The anodised aluminium axle provided with Delta covers is covered by a 5 year guarantee, entering into effect on the date on which the
guarantee slip, appended hereto is received, having first been duly completed by the installer client, or, by default, after a period of 30 days,
said time period commencing on the cover delivery date.
The aforementioned guarantee covers the structural integrity of the cover axle over time subject to the conditions that said axle was
installed in accordance with the technical recommendations set out in the "Installation Instructions" concerning Delta covers and is used in
accordance with the prescriptions set out in the "Operating Recommendations" .
The following are outside the scope of the guarantee covering the cover axle:
- Damage resulting from the use of water treatment systems and/or products incompatible with the materials constituting the Delta
cover axle, or occasioned by the use of water treatment systems and/or products other than in compliance with the instructions
provided by the manufacturers of the aforementioned systems and products.
The users's attention is specifically drawn to the risks of corrosion of the Delta cover axle associated with the presence of salt in the
pool water, whether or not said presence is combined with the use of a salt electrolysis system.
- Damage resulting from the use of the automatic cover other than in accordance with the prescriptions set out in the Operating
Recommendations.
4. Guarantee covering the end plates
The end plates provided with Delta covers are covered by a 5 year guarantee, entering into effect on the date on which the guarantee slip,
appended hereto is received, having first been duly completed by the installer client, or, by default, after a period of 30 days, said time
period commencing on the cover delivery date.
The aforementioned guarantee covers the structural integrity of the cover end plates over time subject ot the conditions that said end plates
were installed in accordance with the technical recommendations set out in the "Installation Instructions" concerning Delta covers and are
used in accordance with the prescriptions set out in the Operating Recommendations.
The following are outside the scope of the guarantee covering end plates:
- Damage resulting from the use of water treatment systems and/or products incompatible with the materials constituting the Delta
cover end plates, or occasioned by the use of water treatment systems and/or products other than in compliance with the instructions
provided by the manufacturers of the aforementioned systems and products.
The users's attention is specifically drawn to the risks of corrosion of the Delta cover end plates associated with the presence of salt in
the pool water whether or not said presence is combined with the use of a salt electrolysis system.
- The deposition of ferric oxides on the end plates, resulting from the oxidation of metallic particles present in the pool water that can
be removed simply by cleaning.
- Damage resulting from the use of the automatic cover other than in accordance with the prescriptions set out in the Operating
Recommendations.
