C. GUARANTEES EXTENDED TO ACCESSORIES
1. Guarantee covering the prefabricated beam
The lacquered aluminium beam provided with Delta covers is covered by a 5 year guarantee, entering into effect on the date on
which the guarantee slip, appended hereto is received, having first been duly completed by the installer client, or, by default, after a
period of 30 days, said time period commencing on the cover delivery date.
The aforementioned guarantee covers the structural integrity of the prefabricated beam over time subject to the conditions that said
prefabricated beam was installed in accordance with the technical recommendations set out in the Installation Instructions concer-
ning Delta covers and is used in accordance with the prescriptions set out in the Operating Recommendations.
IMPORTANT: It is hereby recalled that the prefabricated beam, as well as the PVC or wooden duckboarding associated with it,
serves an essentially decorative function in that it hides the mechanical parts of the cover from view.
Consequently, they must be kept free of any obstruction to allow rapid and easy access to the cover pit or extension.
The maximum weight supported by PVC or wooden duckboarding resting on a beam is 80 Kg/m².
The following are outside the scope of the guarantee covering the beam:
Damage resulting from the use of the automatic cover other than in accordance with the prescriptions set out in the Operating
Recommendations:
- Use of the beam as a diving platform.
- Use of the beam and/or duckboarding as a walkway to enter or leave the pool.
- The application of a load greater than 80 Kg/m² to the beam/duckboarding assembly.
2. Guarantee covering the high pressure cleaning system - Stardeck covers
Stardeck covers are equipped with a high pressure cleaning system. This high pressure cleaning system is covered by a 5 year
guarantee. However, Aquaboost is covered by a 1 year guarantee.
The aforementioned guarantees enter into effect on the date on which the guarantee slip appended hereto is received, having
first been duly completed by the installer client, or, by default, after a period of 30 days, said time period commencing on the cover
delivery date.
This guarantee covers the correct operation of the system and, notably, the booster pump, subject to the conditions that said sys-
tem was installed in accordance with the technical recommendations provided in the Delta cover Installation Instructions and said
system is operated in accordance with the prescriptions set out in the Operating Recommendations.
The following are outside the scope of the guarantee covering the high pressure cleaning system:
- Damage resulting from failure to respect the electrical standards in effect and, notably, the French standard NFC 15-100
dated December 2002 or equivalent.
IMPORTANT:
- In the event that the Stardeck cover is installed in a location susceptible to flooding, the booster pit absolutely must be fitted
with a siphon and a lift pump to protect the pump against flooding.
- It is hereby recalled that the booster pump must be installed by a duly qualified professional.
3. Guarantee covering PVC or wooden duckboarding
The wooden or PVC duckboarding that comes with a Stardeck or Coverdeck cover is protected by a 1 year guarantee entering into
effect on the date on which the guarantee slip, appended hereto is received, having first been duly completed by the installer client,
or, by default, after a period of 30 days, said time period commencing on the cover delivery date.
The aforementioned guarantee covers the structural integrity of the wooden or PVC duckboarding over time, subject to the condi-
tions that said system was installed in accordance with the technical recommendations provided in the Delta cover Installation
Instructions and said system is operated in accordance with the prescriptions set out in the Operating Recommendations.
IMPORTANT: It is hereby recalled that the PVC or wooden duckboarding serves an essentially decorative function in that it hides
the mechanical parts of the cover from view.
The maximum weight supported by Stardeck or Coverdeck duckboarding, whether equipped with wooden or PVC slats, is 80 Kg/m².
