The plastic ball valve may feature a handle lock (option).

When the handle lock ( Fig. 2: /14, 15) has been installed, first
disengage it, then you can turn the handle (Fig. 12:).
The handle lock can be engaged in a 0° or a 90° position.

A padlock can also be attached to secure the handle.
