Modes of operation.
In the main menu, the arrow buttons can be used to access the
operating modes menu. This menu allows you to set the oper-
ating times of the unit on the basis of various parameters.
Manual mode.
In manual operation, the components such as the pressure
pipe cleaning system (PPCS), the pressure pipe ventilation
(PPV), the pump sump ventilation (PSV), the heating and the
ventilation can be set individually by hand.
NOTICE! Pumping also takes priority over compressor operati-
on during manual operation.
System settings.
In the main menu, the arrow buttons can be used to access
the system menu, where individual settings and values can be
changed.
Logbook.
In the main menu, the arrow buttons can be used to access the
log, where all error messages are recorded with the date and
time. The most recent error message is shown on the display,
and the arrow buttons can be used to scroll through previous
error messages.
OPERATION MODES -OK-
You can now select various sub-menus with ▲ ▼ . Once you
press -OK-, you will be asked to enter a password.
The factory default setting is "0000". Each of the four digits
must be confirmed with -OK-. This means that in the case of
the factory default setting, for example, you will have to press
-OK- four times. You are now in the relevant sub-menu.
Before carrying out any settings for a component, it is neces-
sary to change the component concerned from "inactive" to
"active".
▲ ▼ PPCS-fixed time -OK-
In this menu, you can set fixed times and running times for a
maximum of four pipes to be flushed. It is possible to set up
to ten times for each pipe. In addition, days of the week can
be selected: Mon-Fri (WK), Sat-Sun (WE), Mon-Sun (ALL) Each
flashing digit must be selected with the arrow button and con-
firmed with -OK-.

Press -ESC- to return to the previous level. If you wish to delete
a time y again, then in the first item of the starting time select
the x and press -OK-. In the display, the time is no longer dis-
played, and "OFF" now appears
▲ ▼ PPCS-pump control -OK-
In this option, the pressure pipe is flushed out subject to the
pumping operations. If the amount of water is sufficiently
great that the contents of the pressure pipe are renewed in the
exchange time (generally 2 hours), it is not necessary to flush

out the pipes. Otherwise, flushing is necessary. If at the same
time fixed flushing times are set, it is possible to determine
that the unit should start up only if a minimum interval to the
next fixed flushing time is adhered to.

In this case, the unit runs after the sewage pump. The system
starts when the input "VP" is closed again. Each flashing digit
must be selected with the arrow button and confirmed with
-OK-.

To extend the anaerobic state of the wastewater, a pump sump
aeration unit can be installed. The duty cycle and pause time
are then defined in this menu. Each flashing digit must be se-
lected with the arrow button and confirmed with -OK-.

The aeration time and the number of cycles can be set for
these components. Please refer to the tables in the appendix
for the values which are specified depending upon the pres-
sure pipe, pressure pipe length and the system pressure.

Times can be set here during which the unit must not operate
under any circumstances.
