5. Position the seatbelt buckle so that the release button will not be contacted by wheelchair
components during a crash.
6. Make sure that belts are not twisted or held away from the body as shown in figure 6.
7. Make sure that the shoulder-belt restraints fit over the shoulders, see figure 7.

First use and storage
CAUTION
• Never completely discharge the battery.
• Do not interrupt the charging cycle; only disconnect the battery charger when the battery is
fully charged.
• Make sure that your wheelchair is stored dry to prevent mould to grow and damage the
upholstery. If necessary, use a protective cover.
• Check the technical details for storage, see chapter 5.
Ensure that the battery has been fully charged before using your wheelchair, ask your dealer if
this has already been done or not. To charge, follow the charging instructions in §3.8.
