Problem
Water is turning green, or brown
stains are appearing on the pool
walls and loor.
The device remains off, even
though it should be working
The Chlorine output cannot reach
100%
Possible cause
The concentration of free Chlorine
is too low
The water contains too much
stabiliser
The water contains too much
dissolved metal (copper, iron,
manganese) (tbrown stains on
PVC waterprooing membranes)
The system was turned off
The panel power supply has short
circuited
The power cable connection to the
panel is loose
The fuse protecting the main circuit
board has blown
One or both wires in the power
cable is cut.
It is not set at 100%
Electrode surfaces are dirty
(limescale, etc.)
The cell is worn out after being
used for a long time
Solution
Check the concentration of free
Chlorine, correct if necessary.
Measure the concentration of
Isocyanuric acid. Renew a fraction
of the pool water volume to bring
the stabiliser concentration back
below 50 ppm.
Measure the concentration of
metals. Add a metal locculent.
Turn it on
Check the fuse or circuit breaker on
the electrolyser panel power line
Cut power to the panel, remove the
lid covering the panel connection
terminals and tighten the power
cable connections
Contact the after sales service for
inspection and replacement if this
proves necessary.
Inspect the cable and check
the electrical continuity using a
multimeter
Check and correct if necessary
Descale the cell
Replace the cell
