If the heating element is on and the humidity of the air is hygrostat controlled, it will be turned off
when the hygrostat stops the unit. Vice versa when the hygrostat starts the unit.
On the front two Ø100 mm flexible hoses may be connected for distribution of the hot outlet air
(max. length of hoses: 5 m each). To overcome the pressure loss in the hoses, the CDT 35 S is
equipped with a pressure stable radial fan.

Electronic control
The entire control of the unit, inclusive of safety, control and ON/OFF functions is taken care of by
the CDG 2 circuit board. The light diodes on the control panel give the following indications.

been switched off in order to protect the
compressor. After 44 minutes the unit
switches on again automatically. During
these 44 minutes the LED will light up in red
to indicate a failure.
3.
The room temperature is lower than 3°C and
the unit is switched off. At room tempera-
tures higher than 3°C, the unit switches on
again automatically.
4.
The unit is switched off because the water container is full.

The evaporator coil is being defrosted. During defrosting the compressor is working and the
fan is stopped.

The CDT 85 has no LED (4) as this model has no water container.

Cleaning the filter
A dirty filter will reduce the efficiency and cause dirt to deposit on the inside. Therefore the filter
should be cleaned at regular intervals. It can either be rinsed in lukewarm soapy water or, if not
very dirty, cleaned with a vacuum cleaner.
