Slightly move the elevator shortly before touchdown.
After landing, adjust the linkage – if necessary – so that the plane flies straight and the trim levers on the transmitter are in centre position again. Once you are
able to control the model perfectly, you can try to optimise flight performance by shifting the centre of gravity.
11. Maintenance and care
Check the linkages and the control functions of the servos on your model regularly. All moving parts have to be easily movable, but should not have any play in
their bearings.
The outside of the model should only be cleaned with a soft, moistened cloth. Never use aggressive cleaning agents or chemical solutions as these may damage
the surfaces.
Important!
If you have to replace damaged or worn parts, use original replacement parts only.
Damage to foam should only be treated with superglue suitable for hard foam. Conventional superglue can dissolve the foam and damage it severely.
A spare parts list is available on our website at www.conrad.com in the download section of the product.
You can also ask for the spare parts list by phone. For contact information, please refer to the "Introduction" at the beginning of these operating instructions.
12. Disposal
a) General
At the end of its service life, dispose of the product according to the relevant statutory regulations.
b) Batteries and rechargeable batteries
You as the end user are required by law (Battery Ordinance) to return all used batteries/rechargeable batteries. Disposing of them in the household
waste is prohibited!
Batteries containing hazardous substances are labelled with the symbols shown to the left. These symbols indicate that disposal of these batteries
in the household waste is prohibited. The heavy metals concerned are: Cd = cadmium, Hg = mercury, Pb = lead (the names are indicated on the
battery/rechargeable battery e.g. below the rubbish bin symbols shown to the left).
You can return used batteries/rechargeable batteries free of charge at any collecting point in your local community, at our stores or wherever
batteries/rechargeable batteries are sold.
You thus fulfil your statutory obligations and contribute to the protection of the environment.
