Pad cassette
• Check regularly whether the middle
opening of the pad cassette (2) is free.
It could e. g. also be blocked by cellu-
lose fibres from kitchen towels.
Dispensing unit with sieve insert
Even small deposits in the sieve insert
(30) considerably reduce the quality of
the crema. This may result from chalky
deposits associated with very hard tap
water already after 100 cups. For this
reason, clean the sieve insert regularly as
follows:

• The two sieves allocated on top of one
another, may not be pressed together.
1. Pull the dispensing unit (
out of the machine.
2. Remove any coffee residue in dishwa-
ter with a soft brush or put the parts
in the dishwasher.
3. To remove chalky deposits on the
sieves, place the sieve insert (30) in a
decalcifier solution. Then rinse it off
again
