metal abilities or who lack experience
and/or knowledge unless they are
supervised by a person responsible
for their safety or have been instructed
by such a person in how to use the
machine.
• Do not allow children to play with the
packaging wrapper. They could catch
themselves in it and suffocate.
Scalding hazard!
Parts of the machine become hot.
Improper handling of the machine may
result in scalding/burns.
• Always place a container under the
milk frother when you are using steam.
• Do not reach into the steam jet.
Improper use may cause defects
in the machine.
• Only fill the tank with cold tap water,
never use carbonated water or other
liquids such as milk or the like.

The right setup location

• Place the machine
– on a solid and level surface
– not on a a gas/electric stove or on
another heat source or directly next
to one
– not directly next to a basin or sink
– not on a surface that is sensitive to
water as it could be damaged by
spilled water.
• Set up the machine so that there is no
risk of it tipping over.
• Do not use the machine in areas that
are more than 1500 m above sea level.
Otherwise the machine will not work
properly.
• Frost hazard! Never leave the machi-
ne in areas with temperatures under 0
°C. The water in the boiler could freeze
and inflict damage.
• If the connector cord is too long for
you, you can stow the excessive cord
which you don't need in the grooves
on the bottom of the machine.
