7 DOMESTIC HOT WATER
PRODUCTION
We use the term "domestic hot water" (ACS) to
indicate the hot water used for cleaning and
personal hygiene in buildings and homes, which
differs from the hot water used to power the
heating system.
We recommend evaluating the possibility of gen-
erating hot water by integrating other domestic
hot water production systems.
7.1 Domestic hot water temperature
adjustment
The temperature of domestic hot water used can
be adjusted by setting the wheel on the valve
(Fig. 7.1).
The thermostatic valve ensures a high flow rate
and good functional performance, as well as
an anti-scald function for general domestic hot
water applications. The anti-scald function mixes
hot water generated by the heat exchanger with
cold water in order to ensure constant tempera-
ture on delivery.

7.2 Thermostatic mixer

The thermostatic mixer offers temperature ad-
justments in 6 positions to increase temperature
from an initial value of 35 °C up to a maximum of
60 °C (Fig. 7.2).
• Remove the cap (Fig. 7.1).
• Adjust the temperature (Fig. 7.2).
• Close the cap.
