3.2 Connect the sensor to the module
W A R N I N G
Potential Electrocution Hazard. Always disconnect power to
the instrument when making electrical connections.
W A R N I N G
Electrocution Hazard. High voltage wiring for the controller is
conducted behind the high voltage barrier in the controller enclosure.
The barrier must remain in place except when installing modules, or
when a qualified installation technician is wiring for power, relays or
analog and network cards.
N O T I C E
Potential Instrument Damage. Delicate internal electronic
components can be damaged by static electricity, resulting in
degraded performance or eventual failure.
To install the module and connect the sensor, refer to the
steps
on page 9 and
Table
2.
Note: If the sensor cable is not long enough to reach the controller, an interconnect
cable and junction box are required to extend the distance.
