D. BLEEDING THE AUTOLUBE
PUMP
CAUTION:
_
The Autolube pump, oil hose, and oil
delivery hose must be bled on the fol-
lowing occasions:
Setting up a new machine out of the
G
crate.
Whenever the engine oil tank has
G
run dry.
Whenever any portion of the Autol-
G
ube system has been disconnected.
1. Remove:

2. Bleed:

a. Remove the bleed screw (3) and
remove the bleed screw gasket (4).
b. Keep the oil running out until the air
bubbles disappear.
NOTE:
_
Check the bleed screw gasket, and if dam-
aged, replace it with a new one.
c. When air bubbles are no longer visible,
tighten the bleed screw.

a. Start the engine.
b. Keep the engine running at about
2,000 r/min or below for two minutes or
more to completely bleed both the dis-
tributor and oil delivery hose.

ATTENTION:

Purger la pompe à huile Autolube et les
durits d'huile dans les cas suivants:
Machine neuve en provenance de l'usine

Réservoir d'huile moteur tombé à sec

Circuit de la pompe Autolube décon-

necté en tout ou en partie
1. Déposer:
vis (1)

couvercle de la pompe à huile Autolube (2)

2. Purger:
corps de pompe à huile Autolube

a. Déposer la vis de purge (3) ainsi que son
joint (4).
b. Laisser s'écouler l'huile jusqu'à ce que

toutes les bulles aient disparu.
N.B.:
_
Contrôler l'état du joint de la vis de purge et le
remplacer par un neuf s'il est endommagé.
c. Serrer la vis de purge une fois toutes les
bulles d'air disparues.

3. Purger:

a. Mettre le moteur en marche.
b. Faire tourner le moteur à environ 2.000 tr/mn
maximum pendant au moins deux minutes

buteur et la durit d'alimentation.
