01 Û INTRODUCTION
Read this manual and follow its instructions
carefully before proceeding with the use,
maintenance, or other operations on the
device. Always keep this manual within easy
reach.
IMPORTANT: to prevent harm to persons

The purpose of this manual is to make
the operator knowledgeable of the safety
01.1 Û INTENDED USE OF THE COMPACT PIEZO LED
By means of the appropriate inserts, the
following dental applications can be
performed:
- scaling: all the procedures for the removal
of bacterial plaque deposits and supra-
gingival, sub-gingival, and interdental
calculi, and for the removal of stains;
- periodontology: periodontal treatment for
the scaling and root-planing/debridement
including cleaning and irrigation of the
periodontal pocket;
- cleaning of the implant site surfaces;
WARNING: The device must be used
in a dental practice or ambulatory. The
device cannot operate in environments
where anesthetic or flammable mixtures
are present.
WARNING: Qualified and specialized
personnel. The device must be used
exclusively by specialized and appropriately
trained personnel completely familiar with
the required techniques and

precautions and the instructions for a correct
use and maintenance of the device and its
accessories.
Use of this manual for purposes other than
those strictly tied to the use and maintenance
of the device is forbidden.
