4. Installation
CAUTION! Heed the static calculations for traffic safety
Chamber installation for load class D can make a load distribution
plate, concrete: 0.18m x 2.3m x 2.3m (thickness x height x width)
necessary.
▶ Determine the necessary load class and static calculations in accordance with
the environment/conditions of use.
▶ Keep the standard road construction in accordance with road building guidelines.
4.1
Soil excavation
1 Guarantee suitability of product (variant) for environment conditions (➲ Chap.
"2.3 Intended use") and installation depth (➲ Chap. "2.4 Product description").
▶ Slope angle β must be determined according to DIN 4124.
▶ Excavate the pit, at the base at least 50 cm all-round,
▶ compact the surface (granular subbase of 30 cm) and level it off.
4.2
Chamber installation
▶ Insert the chamber and align it horizontally.
▶ If necessary, fix the chamber in place vertically using lean concrete.
▶ When installed in groundwater, secure the chamber against buoyancy.
▶ Fill the remaining space ( ➲ Fig. [6]) section for section with 0/16 filling mate-
rial. After every 30 cm compact to Dpr = 97%, up to the height of the ground
edge or standard road structure.
