5. Putting into operation

EN 12056-4, must be heeded when lifting stations are put into operation.
5.1

Checking the system

L During black water operation, the pump may only be used in such a way that
no air can get into the pump housing. Running the pump without water leads to
increased wear and possible sparking.
Check the following points before putting into operation:
• Correct installation of the pump
• Fixing of all removable components
• Airtightness of the system
• Mains voltage (max. deviation ± 10 %)
• Density of the pumping medium
(the manufacturer must be consulted in the case of higher values)
• Correct fit of the elements for level detection
5.2

Putting the system into operation

L The system is made ready for operation by connection to the mains power
supply.
▶ In the case of systems with control unit, heed the installation and operating
instructions for the control unit.
▶ In the case of systems without control unit, insert the plug into the socket.
✓ System is ready for operation.
