4. Mounting the BOF and BSS machine vices

Check machine table and base of vice for un-

evenness and microchips and remove these if
detected.
Do not mar the finish of the vice.

Make sure that the entire bottom face of the vice
S
rests flat on the machine table.
4.1. Mounting with bolts (having at least
a class 8.8 strength)

4.3. Clamping with guiding rail
4.3.1 Mounting in spacer disk
Swivel bearing, free position

Safety and guard against catching and lift
S
off of the vice
4.4. Clamping with clamps
(for series works)
Distribute the fastening elements so that the re-

sulting connection between machine table and
vice is as rigid as possible.
There are slots for mounting (see 4.1 -- 4.2)

4.2. Clamping with clamps
4.3.2 Mounting with 2 screws for T--slot 12 mm
and 14 mm (included in delivery)
4.5. Clamping with clamps in side face
(possible on both sides)
