TROuBLESHOOTING GuIDE

This unit must be serviced by trained and qualified
personnel only. Service by unqualified personnel may lead
to electric shock or burn.
Symptom
Light bulb not working.
Base food holding area not hot
enough.
Base food holding area too hot.
No heat, but light works.
No heat and no light.

WARNING
Probable Cause
Light bulb defective.
Power turned off.
Temperature control set too low.
Base Power I/O (on/off) Toggle Switch in the
O (off) position.
Heating element(s) not working.
Temperature control not working properly.
Excessive air movement around unit.
Unit connected to incorrect power supply.
Temperature control set too high.
Temperature control not working properly.
Unit connected to incorrect power supply.
Temperature control set too low.
Heating element(s) not working.
Temperature control not working properly.
Power turned off.
Circuit breaker tripped.
ELECTRIC SHOCK HAzARD: Turn power switch OFF,
unplug power cord, and allow unit to cool before
performing any maintenance or cleaning.
Replace light bulb.
move Power I/O (on/off) switch to the I (on)
position.
adjust temperature control to a higher setting.
move Base Power I/O (on/off) Toggle Switch to
the I (on) position.
Contact an authorized Hatco Service agent or
Hatco for assistance.
Contact an authorized Hatco Service agent or
Hatco for assistance.
Restrict or redirect air movement (i.e., air
conditioning duct or exhaust fan) away from
unit or install flip-up doors on unit to contain
heat and block air flow.

adjust Temperature control to a lower setting.
Contact an authorized Hatco Service agent or
Hatco for assistance.
Contact an authorized Hatco Service agent or
