Unit too hot.
Unit not hot enough.
Unit not working at all.
Stone surface material is stained,
discolored, or has inconsistent
staining/discoloration.
Infrared bulb does not illuminate.

Probable Cause
Shelf Temperature Control set too high.
Unit plugged into incorrect power supply.
Shelf Temperature Control defective.
Shelf Temperature Control set too low.
Location of unit is susceptible to air currents (air
conditioning ducts, exhaust fans, or exterior doors).
Unit not turned on.
Unit not plugged in.
Circuit breaker has tripped.
Power I/O (on/off) Switch defective.
Shelf Temperature Control defective.
Base heating element burned out.
Stone surface is not being cleaned properly.
Bulb is defective or has burned out.

TROUBLESHOOTING GUIDE

ELECTRIC SHOCK HAzARD: Turn OFF power switch,
unplug power cord, and allow unit to cool before
performing any cleaning, adjustments, or maintenance.
Change the temperature setting to a lower
setting.
Verify with
supply matches unit specification.
Contact authorized Service agent or Hatco for
assistance.
Change the temperature setting to a higher
setting.
Block air currents or relocate unit.
move Power I/O (on/off) Switch to the I (on) position.
Plug unit into proper power supply.
Reset circuit breaker.
Contact authorized Service agent or Hatco for
assistance.

Clean surface using the "Cleaning the Stone Surface"
