3.3. Recommendations to be respected
• The greater the dimensions A and B, the longer the opening and
closing time.
• The sum of dimensions A and B must always be less than 300 mm
for Ixengo JS, or 400 mm for Ixengo JL.
Attention
Having similar values for A and B will ensure the gate's movement
is more fluid.
As the values for A and B get further apart, the gate's movement
becomes less fluid, and the force exerted on gate will vary more.
The higher the value B, the greater the force required for closing.
3.4. Installing the pillar mounting bracket - Fig. 6
To facilitate taking measurements, use the Access Fix&GO Pro application.
Fasten the pillar mounting bracket in compliance with dimension A defined
either by the Access Fix&GO Pro application or by the dimensions chart.
• The minimum dimension used for the calculation is 30 mm.
• The minimum width of the pillar is 70 mm.
• The value x is between:
- Ixengo JS: -20 mm and 120 mm,
- Ixengo JL: -20 mm and 160 mm.
• The width of the gate leaf is between
- Ixengo JS: 1.5 m and 3 m,
- Ixengo JL: 1.5 m and 4 m.
• The opening time information is given for information purposes for
a 90° opening; the calculation was made using the maximum motor
speed with no slowing.
• The closure holding force information is given for information pur-
poses on a scale of 1 (weak holding force) to 7 (strong holding force).
• The position of the mounting bracket on the pillar is given for the
smoothest possible movement with A close to B where possible.
Attention
The motor must be at least 100 mm from the ground.
1) Define the desired opening angle α°.
2) Measure the dimension X on the gate.
3) Calculate B = Z + X (with Z = 75 mm for the standard mounting bracket).
4) In the table of dimensions, define the dimension A according to the
desired opening angle α° and the calculated dimension B.
5) Welding the pillar mounting bracket.
3.5. Installing the gate leaf mounting bracket -
Fig. 7 and 8
1) Close the gate.
2) Unlock the cylinder.
3) Pull out the cylinder to reach a length of (Fig. 8):
• if opening inwards:
- 930 mm for Ixengo JS
- 1130 mm for Ixengo JL
• if opening outwards:
- 630 mm for Ixengo JS
- 730 mm for Ixengo JL
4) Fit the cylinder on the pillar mounting bracket.
Attention
The motor must not be positioned the wrong way round (up-
side-down).
5) Insert the pillar mounting bracket motor tie bolt and tighten the nut,
leaving a gap of 1 millimetre between the nut and the cylinder.
6) Install the gate leaf mounting bracket.
7) Fasten the gate leaf mounting bracket with a screw at least 10 mm in
diameter and a washer, ensuring that the cylinder is level.
A vertical tolerance of roughly 58 mm is possible for Ixengo JS, or 70
mm for Ixengo JL, between the height of the gate leaf bracket and that
of the pillar bracket.

8) Fit the cylinder on the gate leaf mounting bracket.
9) Insert the gate leaf mounting bracket motor tie bolt and tighten the nut,
leaving a gap of 1 millimetre between the nut and the cylinder.
3.6. Installing the stop blocks on the ground - Fig. 9
Check that the stop blocks for the gate leaves are present on the ground
Attention
For the cylinder to operate, the use of stop blocks on the ground
is compulsory for both opening and closing. The stop blocks
must stop the gate leaves before the cylinders reach their
end limits. The stop blocks on the ground apply physical pres-
sure to the gate leaves, thus limiting the mechanical stress on the
cylinders (particularly in windy conditions).

5. LOCKING/UNLOCKING THE MOTORS
When unlocking the motors, the gate may be manoeuvred manually if
there is an electrical fault (Fig. 11).
